Progress started as a pop-up restaurant concept and is now transitioning to a permanent location. With the transition, the team wanted an sophisticated update on their previous branding. Progress is a process focused restaurant that uses simple ingredients in innovative ways to create an unforgettable dining experience. I transitioned the brand from their slab-serif logo to a more simple serif, while still keeping the same cadence as their previous mark. Drawing inspiration from their interiors, textures and food, I created a color palette of mostly neutrals with a "spiced sienna" accent. Throughout their website and marketing materials, I focused on imagery with some element of movement or process to emphasize the storytelling aspect of their food along with a more narrative and verbose tone of voice.
